Terms and Conditions of LEEF Technologies
- The Company
1.1. LEEF Technologies, ltd., (hereinafter LT) is, among other things, a provider of services in education. The Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between LT and the participants of conferences, fora, congresses, workshops and seminars. The Terms and Conditions are binding for both parties.
- Registration
2.1. A contractual relationship between LT and a participant of an event organized by LT arises on the basis of a written order, i.e. registration sent through the web page "Forumelektromobilita", via e-mail or mail. Registration is binding. Withdrawal from the contract, or its cancellation, is regulated under clause 4 of these Terms and Conditions.
2.2. The registration fee covers the cost of the event (conference, congress, workshop, seminar), an electronic version of the materials, and refreshments. Accommodation costs are not included in the price of the event.
2.3. When registering for an event, all price discounts that are listed in the pricing of a specific event can be applied. A discounted price (early registration) goes into effect as of the date of delivery of the registration (through the web page, e-mail, mail) as long as it is specified in the pricing conditions for each event. Otherwise the basic price (basic registration) counts on the date of delivery of the registration (through the web page, e-mail, mail) from the current date given in the pricing conditions on.
Price discounts cannot be applied for following the payment for the event. Individual discounts cannot be combined.
2.4. The prices which are given in the pricing conditions on the web page do not include the VAT of 21%.
- Payment conditions
3.1. The registration fee is to be paid in full including the VAT, in advance (according to a proforma invoice with a fortnightly maturity). A regular invoice will be sent to you within 14 days following the payment of the registration fee. The registration fee is to be paid to the bank account that is given on the proforma invoice.
- Cancellation conditions
4.1. The cancellation of the participation in an event has to be done in writing (by e-mail or by mail). The cancellation fee for a forum is 1500.00 CZK. The cancellation fee for a workshop or a seminar is 500.00 CZK.
4.2. When cancelling participation in an event within the 14 days immediately preceding the event, the whole registration fee is already due. The payment cannot be returned.
4.3. When you register 5 or less days before the launch of an event, we ask you for proof of having transferred the participation fee to our bank account.
4.4. When the person registered to participate cannot attend, a colleague can attend in his or her place.
4.5. In the event of an emergency, LT reserves the right to change the programme or cancel the event.
- Personal data protection and the permission to send commercial messages
5.1. Personal data protection of a participant who is a natural person is provided by Act No. 101/200 Coll., On personal data protection.
5.2. Hereby, the participant gives permission for LT to process the following personal data: name and surname, e-mail address, phone number, employer and on-job position (hereinafter personal data).
5.3. Hereby, the participant gives LT permission to process personal data for the purposes of fulfilling the contractual obligations of LT, for the purposes of sending commercial messages and for other marketing purposes. Personal data will be processed indefinitely, in electronic form or in print. By processing the personal data, LT can appoint a third person, the so-called processor.
5.4. The participant is aware of the obligation to give truthful and correct information on his or her personal data as well as the obligation to inform LT without undue delay of any change to his or her personal data before the contractual relationship is terminated.
5.5. The participant confirms that the data provided is accurate and that s/he was informed that it is a voluntary provision of personal data. The participant declares that s/he was informed that the consent to process personal data in relationship to LT can be cancelled by a written notification delivered to the address of LT.
5.6. In case a participant believes that either LT or the processor (clause 5.3) processes his or her personal data in such a way that contradicts the protection of the personal and private life of the participant or that breaches the law, especially if his or her personal data show signs of lacking precision given the aim of their processing, s/he can ask LT to explain and s/he can ask LT to remove the resulting condition. Especially blocking, correcting, giving additional information or deleting can be done in relation to personal data. If the request by a participant is found to be well founded, LT or the processor will immediately rectify the bad condition.
5.7. The participant consents to being sent information and commercial messages by LT on services of the LT company to the participant´s email address.
